"I've been stuck in one spot for too long and it's been awhile since I've been home. Haven't talked to anyone in awhile. It's been lonely. I needed to do it."
*Raedia trudged on and kept on walking through the windy path in which her and Damion first remet unknowingly. It's been several years since she'd been in her home town. She had gone to travel the world and see if she could find a more serene place which she could call home. Nothing succeeded because to Raedia her home is the most magical and most powerful. No where else made sense. Everywhere that had ever been called magical by any being didn't seem quite magical enough. She reached town a few hours later.*
"Damn. This place has changed."
*After seeing despair and the town in pieces it was joy to see it back in one piece. Though it wasn't like it was in the first place. The air felt the same, but not anything else. She could no longer feel the presence of anyone. She looked around and seen not a soul. Not a shopkeeper, nor a dog running the streets. It was a desolate wasteland. Or so it seemed. Eyes peered through a window for just a moment. Then nothing else.*
"What the hell?"
*She walked around town. Nothing. So she went down to the bar where she used to hang out with William, Amy, Damion, and Morrigan. She walked in and there was only a sign that said, 'Pay here. Help yourself.' The place was clean, but silent. The bartender came around the corner.*
Bartender: "Long time, no see. How are you doing?"
"I'm okay. Can you tell me what's happened to this town? Everyone is in hiding."
Bartender: "Ever since it's been rebuilt everyone is afraid to leave because of the Unknown. I would explain more, but I can't. It's impossible to tell every little detail. Though you will catch on soon. No one will leave their homes and those who will carry weapons. This town has no laws because everyone is too scared to talk about anything or do anything without permission or protection."
"Wow. I wonder. Do you know what happened to all my friends by any chance?"
Bartender: "If I could tell you I would. I haven't seen them since about two months after you left to travel. I'm guessing by you being back that you didn't find what you were looking for."
"No. Well I would stay and chat, but I'm going to head home. Do you still have my horse or did he go home?"
Bartender: "He's still out in the barn. Hasn't changed a bit. I'll see you later. Don't worry about the drink. It's on the house."
*She got up and thanked the bartender. Still desolate she walks into the back barn. The moment she opened the door her horse Thunder runs up to her and nuzzles her.*
"Hey I missed you. Did you miss me?"
*She led him outside the barn door and closed it. Then she climbed on Thunder when someone shouted her name.*
