*On a quiet country night in the middle of the Smokey Mountains rolls a sweet smelling mist. This is one Raedia knows all to well. On nights like this is when a new beginning starts again. She lays back on her pillow when the smell is completely gone and the mist rolls off quickly. That usually means trouble, but on this night it's just the opposite. The presence of the two outside not far from her small cabin draws near. Raedia sits up and goes to her sister Morrigan in the other room.*
"Morrigan...Wake up... There's some people coming. I feel two people. Morrigan! Wake the hell up!"
*Raedia shakes her just enough to wake Morrigan up. Then goes over to her sister's wardrobe and grabs her some decent clothing.*
"Here. Wear this."
*She throws the clothes at Morrigan as she's sitting up. Then bolts out of the room and grabs her cloak. She then proceeds to walk over to the window facing the south from which the beings are coming and stares in wait.*

*Morrigan grumbles as she rolls over trying to ignore her sister. Half way back to sleep she moans as the heaviness of her clothes land on her face. Raedia worries too much these people are close but not that close*
RAEDIA!!!! your such a brat. its been what 15 years since anythings has come this way and for 15 years every times something comes within the Smokey Mountains Range you think they are coming here.
*Morrigan stumbles into the bathroom and draws a hot shower. Still half asleep as she steps into the shower the hot water hitting her skin the tears begin to run down her face. Leans her head back she looks up into the water closing her head she whispers to her mother*
Is it time yet?
*Standing up Morrigan finishes her shower. Heading back to the bedroom throwing on her new black and red undies and bra she pulls the sheets off the bed to find her clothes that had gotten mixed up with her bedding. Smiling while holding up the outfit her sister picked out.*
Thanks sis for the outfits again
*Sighing Morg slips on her grey leggings before slipping on the red tank over her head letting out on last yawn before slipping on a pair of grey socks as she hops out into the other room. Grabbing her black hooded cloak she curls up next to Raedia*
Sorry if you said anything I took a shower had to wake up. so do you still sense them?
*Morrigan sighs as she wishes her powers weren't dormant right now*

*Connor hated using portals. They had nearly killed him before so he rarely used them now. He had watched his uncle do it when he first escaped. He had been able to recreate a few inferior versions of the one his uncle made but the portals requires an element of spirit to stabilize the bending of time and space and he had never mastered spirit. *
"Shall we try it Valdus?"
*Valdus was the name he had given to his hawk based on a character in one of his uncle's books. He stood staring at the portal as it flickered. Still it was the only way. Lava rushed towards him from the Volcanic planet he was one. It was either risk the portal that might kill him or stay where we was and die for sure.*
*Valdus leaned his head to the side as if to say...*
"Connor, when will you ever learn"
*Connor takes a deep sigh and then holds his breathe in anticipation as he steps through the portal... world spinning.. thoughts growing distant... and then finally the arrival. *
"Curious"
*He shakes his head to clear it and looks around as some mist rolls by. Some mountains off in the distance.. at least they aren't volcanic like the world he just left. He sits down for a moment to rest.*
"Valdus, go scout around and see what you can find."
*Valdus launches off his shoulder and vanishes into the night*

*Pandora looks up from the journal as she finishes reading the last entry...of all days, why did it have to be today. She barely remembered her father and a mix of emotions causing her to smile and weep flood through her as thoughts of her guardians last words came back to her. She was the daughter of a sylph, and a human sorcerer, and though she had never known her mother, she knew that her father had barely survived when he lost her, and as a result, he put every moment of his time into his research, though what that research had been, she didn't know, until now. Her mother's life force had ended the moment she gave birth to her only child, and Pandora had always blamed herself for the choice her mother had made in
sacrificing herself to save her daughter. Chami's, last gift to her daughter was the transference of her elemental powers, which added to the powers she had inherited from her father would make her very powerful....If only she could learn to control them. Now without her mother to guide her, she had only the spell book her father had left her when he had abandoned them, to save them so he said. She still wondered what had happened to him, and if she would ever see him again, but in the meantime, she had a lot of studying to do, and nothing was going to distract her from it, not even the commotion she heard in the distance, which had every nerve in her body wanting to jump up and run to it, she knew something was wrong...she also knew that if she tried to help, she would only make things worse.*
*Pandora slowly closes the book, taking note of the map on the back cover, and then walks over to peek through the doorway, careful not to be discovered*, She sees a young woman, obviously about to give birth through a silvery light who is running from a dark shadow...the shadow, somehow grows larger, as it envelopes the young woman, covering her in darkness...*
*Pandora screams*....
*As the shrill scream cuts through the darkness, the shadow fades away, leaving the young woman, on the ground, in a bloody mess, She starts calling for help, but doesn't seem to hear or see Pandora. Suddenly she hears someone running towards them in the distance, and she recognizes the man coming into site*
* Its her father*
*the silver shimmer fades and suddenly the woman is on the bed giving birth, and she suddenly realizes that the woman is her mother, and the baby about to be born is her...she notices the details coming in more clearly as recognition dawns, and she sees her mothers complexion is an unhealthy shade of green, even as her dark forest green hair tumbles over her shoulders in waves, and she sees her color fading as she loses her strength, a choice has to be made, do they save the woman or the child...*
"Save the child", her mother whispers, "please, save the child"...
*The silver shimmer fades again and she sees her father sitting on a slab of concrete, his eyes are weary and his head is bent, as if he has been crying, as she walks closer as the image starts to fade, and *Pandora reaches for it tentatively and then starts to draw it back again, as the shock wears off, she reaches through the last vestiges of the fading shimmering light.....and falls....*

*Raedia nods to Morrigan.*
"You're welcome sis. Yes whatever is out there isn't moving, but they are still out there...Just not together. I can feel a spirit animal also. Just not sure what it is or where. This time I am truly certain its not Damion or William or Cheyenne. This time its someone else. Someone with different powers and different feelings. One of strong pain and another of curiousness and a small amount of fear."
*She looks out the window once more and still sees nothing different. Then she turns around and goes to the kitchen to make some breakfast.*
"What do you want to eat?"
*As Raedia starts to rummage through the cabinets for food, she is stricken with images in her mind and a pain in her stomach. She grasps her stomach and the images start to become clearer. A man she once knew walks on the hill side towards an old familiar cabin. The lake becomes mesmerizing with other images, but she strays from the thought. As she walks towards the familiar cabin a shadow appears in the window. The image starts to shake a little, but she presses on. She makes it to the door with only a voice to great her.*
"You know this place. It's unlike any other. It's the only place we've ever had true sanctuary. Though you'll never come back here. I still love you. Please remember that."
*Raedia screams at the voice without a word. The images go away and she is back in the kitchen with Morrigan setting her at the table.*
"It happened again. He's trying to come back. I can't let him do that. It only happens when there really is some sort of trouble. FOR HELLS SAKE!!! It's been fifteen fucking years. God dammit. We better prepare."
*Raedia grabs her coffee and sips little by little trying to regain her wits and strength.*

*Morrigan gets grabs her coffee and looks over at Raedia*
You know then we have to awaken my powers again and that will open a ton of trouble in its self and possibly bring others
*Shaking her head clearing the images of her past and why her powers were dormant. Grabbing some fruits and the milk from the fridge she stops dead in her tracks as she see Raedia staring at her*
What? I know my mom put my powers to sleep but this 15 years of dormant has to stop and we'll need my powers. My vampire speed, acrobats, and stealth won't be enough.
*Walking around her sister to the table she sets the fruit and milk down before grabbing her coffee taking a long sip she sighs again*
I want to be ready I learned to not rely on my powers let me know if they get closer?
*Looks down at the coffee and watches it swirl as she tries to call upon the elements*

*A while later Valdus returns swooping in from the sky and landing on Connor's outstretched arm. Connor looks at Valdus and Valdus back at Connor*
"I know Valdus, I sensed it too... there was a stirring of spirit element like when someone is having visions. What's that? you say it came from a small cabin? Very well... usually where people are having visions it can change the fate of the world they are in. Since we are in this world, I suppose we should find out what is happening."
*Connor is a little hungry but not wanting to miss the action he dedies that can wait till later and begins his hike towards the small cabin in the direction the hawk indicated. *
"Valdus! remember the last time we tracked down a vision it was someone having a omen.. those are the worst, I hope its not one of those again."

*Pandora looks around in confusion, wondering where she is. She looks around the small clearing, and notices a waterfall amidst a deep green forest, with tall peaking mountains not far beyond. The area looks very much like the area she saw her father in, but he is nowhere in site.*
"Father!!! Father, where are you?"
*Pandora looks around for something, anything that will tell her where she is, as a feeling of homesickness starts to overwhelm her, and she starts to understand what happened...*
" Somehow I was seeing into the past...my past, and when I tried to touch my father...I....I fell through a gateway into this time and place...but then, where is father?" she whispers to herself.
*Suddenly she hears a voice in her head, very distant, and it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to her, but the voice seems to be telling her to follow it. She looks around to try to figure out where the voice is coming from, and notices a small creature gliding through the sky, but just as she makes up her mind to follow, the creature disappears through a clump of trees...*
"Wait...come Back!!!" she cries running after the creature ..."come back"

*Raedia regains her strength then looks up at Morrigan.*
"You know you'll get your powers when you least expect them. That's what happened last time. Just don't go all crazy this time when you do. I don't need to be healing all your muscles from lack of jumping and flying and what not. Last time you were laid up in bed for a few days. I don't need to take care of your laziness again."
*She chuckled and took a bite of her banana nut muffin that she has every morning with breakfast. With her mouth full she continues.*
"You know....If it weren't for this muffin every morning. I wouldn't know what to eat for breakfast."
*She smiled with muffin incased on her front teeth and a crumb fell out of her mouth. Quickly reaching up to cover her mouth.*
"Oops. So what do you think is coming this time?"
*She grabs a napkin to wipe her mouth as Morrigan is still trying to get her powers to work.*

*Morrigan closes her eyes as a head starts to form behind her eyes. After a few second she looks up at Raedia and laughs at the look on her face*
Well ya know I can cook us up something good
*Finishing her statement before plopping a fresh strawberry into her mouth*
I know they will come when i least expect it but you know after I made that wind swirl and the water jump a couple months ago i can't help but want to keep at it.
*Morrigans sensitive hearing picks up a sound that is being carried in the wind*
Did you hear that? I'm kinda glad that I still have my vampire powers.
*Morrigan stuffs a few more pieces of fruit in her mouth before heading to the other room so she can see down south. Closing her eyes again letting her might go she tries to remember what it was like 15 years ago with everyone around and everything at ease and now its quiet but fearful with not knowing who will be the next one to come this way. Looking back more she remembers the first day she met William, May, Damion, Cheyenne, Dragonstar, and Lucas. At the moment there was a warmth that pressed on her cheek as she opens her eyes a gasp slips out*
Did i just..... RAEDIA I think I saw someone or at least something

*Connor is drawing close to the cabin now, he can sense life inside of it*
"Valdus, if this doesn't go well you better not get caught in the mix as well. Get help if you can and if you can't, well I trust your judgment on such matters. Stay clear of that other that entered as well... in fact if you can study the portal that they used to enter... if we survive this maybe it will help us learn how to stabilize our portals."
*Valdus lifts into the air and vanishes into the night. Connor closes the distance now, realizing that if someone was able to use visions they can probably sense his presence as well. Oh well! nothing to be done for it... if this could alter the fate of the land he needs to know now what he is dealing with. Connor strides forward closing the distance between him in the cabin. He braces himself for the worst.*

*Pandora watches as the bird slowly fades from sight, wondering why it would call to her and then just leave like that, and takes a deep breath, deciding to head in that general direction anyway...better then hanging around here at least. She Takes hold of the locket danging around her neck and opens it seeing a picture of her parents inside, and then closes it and trudges forward, wondering whats in store for her, and what could be at the end of this journey.*
"Father, I know your hear somewhere..I promice I will find you!!!
*She walks a little farther and sees smoke rising above the treetops, then spots a tall evergreen with branches plentiful and sturdy enough to climb, and when she gets about halfway up, she notices that the smoke is billowing out of a small structure, not too much different then the ones they used to live in on Fallin, so she takes note of the direction and, trudges forward, determined to get there before dark *

"One is so close. Male. Young. Kind of sexy and been through a few things. Not many emotions running through him now. We should prepare for anything. The other is walking this way slowly, but not quite here yet."
*Raedia stands up and walks back over to window.*
"I don't see him yet."
*She walks back over to the kitchen table and grabs her small pistol. Then she holsters it and walks back over to the window. Waiting.*

*Raedia jumps in fright while holding her chest.*
"God dammit Loki! Why must you always do that!"
*She catches her breath for a moment and points out into the woods.*
"There's someone coming. Actually two people. How did you get here without me feeling you?"
*She puts her hand up to Loki.*
"Nevermind. Just please stop giving me heart attacks every 5 years. It would be well appreciated."
*Raedia turns back to the area in which the presence is coming and "shhs" Loki. Then she points in the direction waiting for whats to come.*
